Join us for the premiere of "Outdoors in Mammoth," a family-centered environmental festival featuring Jean-Michel Cousteau. Our summer event is an opportunity to celebrate Mammoth’s unique place in the mountains by raising awareness through communication, education, and action.
Friends of the Inyo is a non-profit conservation organization dedicated to preserving the Eastern Sierra Nevada’s unique qualities: its diverse wild lands, scenic beauty, wild rivers, varied flora and fauna, and abundant opportunities for low-impact recreation.
The two-day event, themed “Summit to the Sea - Everything is Connected,” will be a fun and interactive opportunity for families to explore the mountains and discover the role they each can play in building a responsible tomorrow.
Festival is run in partnership with the Mammoth Community Foundation (501 “C” 3). All proceeds will benefit Friends of the Inyo (501 “C” 3).
